I reached out to this shop for a collision repair that unfortunately happened in my driveway between my two cars. Without going into too much detail, one car clipped the other. It was the result of the driver still experiencing some jet lag from a late arriving flight a few hours prior. These things happen. Nonetheless, both parties were sufficiently freaked out by the accident that I sought out immediate relief. I happened upon a flyer I kept from a mailer for Academy Automotive 805. It was Saturday, so I had no expectation they would be around, but indeed they were and right up the street. We got a reasonable estimate that day and both cars were skillfully repaired within a week. I've been all over the Conejo Valley in the past 25 years in an ongoing search for competent mechanics and have found a few here and there. Coming from LA, my standards are pretty high. Academy Automotive certainly qualifies as one of the best and most professional full-service shops I have encountered out here, and as a result they will have our business going forward.
